Our History
Founded in 1981, Maverick International
introduced its first MICR electronic tabletop check encoder, the MICR I. The following year, Maverick introduced its first Batch encoder and the industry's first comprehensive Cash Settlement encoding system for retailers.
Today we engineer, manufacture, and distribute a complete line of MICR check encoding, imaging, and payment processing solutions throughout the U.S. and 21 countries worldwide.
With over 30 years of experience and with an install base of well over 100,000 systems, Maverick is a leader in retail and financial payment processing systems.
